New Profile Design wheels are Kona tested

The latest wheels from Profile Design are ‘proven on triathlon’s biggest stage’ – the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

The new 2011 Profile Design wheels use an all new carbon fibre custom rim shape and are ‘optimised for the type of real-world conditions real-world athletes encounter’:

• Altair 52 Full Carbon Tubular (proprietary carbon fibre 52mm section tubular rim)
• Altair 80 Full Carbon Clincher (proprietary carbon fibre 80.5mm section full carbon clincher rim)
• Armada 38 (extruded 6061-T6 Aluminium 38mm deep-aero section rim)

Profile Design unveiled its first aerobar in 1988. Today, athletes across the globe clutch Profile Design bars, wear the brand and depend on the company’s components to ‘do more with a slice of time than they ever imagined possible.’
